COLLABORATIVE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Having developed the market leading Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb and Ginger in 250ml cans in 2017, the team at CBG can support customer’s journeys to create cutting edge ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails or Hard Seltzers.

COMPOUNDING

CBG’s distiller will compound and mix your RTD, Hard Seltzer or even non-alchoholic drink to your receipe using either bespoke mixer compounds or CBG can supply standard mixers. These liquids will then be compounded in one of our three mixing tanks then chilled overnight prior to carbonation.

IN-LINE

CARBONATION

Once chilled to 4 degrees in tank your liquid is presented to our in-line carbonator where the team expertly balance the temperature of the liquid at around zero degrees against the level of CO2 required to ensure that the in-line carbonator applies the correct levels of carbonation to the finished can.

FILLING

Once the liquid is ready it is sent to our CODI counterpressure filler. We took our time choosing the CODI filler as we wanted to offer our customers the best quality finished product normally available only on mass scale canning lines with a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQs) of only 5,000 litres. The counterpressure filler allows CBG to carbonate liquids up to 4 volumes of carbonation.

LABELLING

A wrap around label designed and provided by you is then applied in line and the cans packed into boxes of either 12 or 24 cans.

FLEXIBILITY

CBG’s line is designed to offer clients as much flexibility as possible and with a unique S-bend inverter with rubberised fingers means that we can fill virtually any can format covering 250ml slim, 330ml sleek, and 330ml stubby.
